April Seventeenth

Toads mating; frog eggs; liverwort; wood anemones; lungwort.

The first tender leaves are sprouting on branches and wild herbs and edibles are covering the forest floor. Spring is officially here when there are those clusters of polka-dot frog eggs in the little leaf-choked pond.

  1. The frog picture made me laugh as I could see the one frog on the other and to me it looked as if they were wrestling. LOL
